This is an orientation session for those interested in learning more about the 8-week Stress Reduction through Mindful Living course or for those already registered. Please come and ask questions and get yourself registered for the next session!
Modeled after the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and the acclaimed Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at the University of Massachusetts, this comprehensive eight-week course entitled Stress Reduction Through Mindful Living has helped thousands of people learn new ways of coping with cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, diabetes, work and family stress, grief, and other conditions.
We encourage all our patients and caregivers to participate in this course as it provides incredible tools for daily stress and life management. We also open this course to our community as a whole so that others facing chronic stress and disease will have access to these powerful tools that can help them cope and function better every day.
This course is facilitated by Gus Castellanos, MD, a retired neurologist and sleep specialist, and mindfulness practitioner, and is held at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, in the HR Education Room.
You must be registered to attend this course. For information about how to register for future courses, please contact Gus Castellanos at (561) 222-1928 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the Sari Center at (561) 578-5900.
