Andrew is a licensed acupuncture physician in the state of Florida. He received a master degree in oriental medicine and a bachelor degree in health science from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale along with specialty training in Chinese herbal medicine, Auricular acupuncture, and acupuncture injection therapy.
Andrew has a large family with complicated medical histories not always well-served by conventional medicine. He started into Oriental medicine after searching for alternative therapies for his own family. This opened the door to rediscover principles that have been around for millennia and to witness firsthand how this medicine is as relevant today as ever.

Sarah E. Smith AP is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician and is nationally board certified by NCCAOM in Oriental Medicine. She practices gentle acupuncture and acupressure. Sarah graduated from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2011 with both a Masters in Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelors in Health Sciences. Sarah is skilled in gentle needle insertion to open up the energy pathways of the body, and believes that the body has an incredibly powerful innate ability to balance itself, especially when in the deep state of relaxation that acupuncture can bring about. Sarah's family has been touched deeply by cancer, and she is honored to be able to bring relaxation and healing to Sari Center patients.

Susanne is a Hypnotherapist and former patient of the Sari Center. During her own battle with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2005, she used hypnotherapy, massage and nutritional guidance in conjunction with traditional treatment and then continued this holistic approach at the Sari Center. She felt so strongly that this combination of traditional and complementary treatments made a significant difference in both her recovery rate and her emotional, mental and physical health that she became a Hypnotherapist in order to help others through their own medical challenges. She has received advanced training in Complementary Medical Hypnosis, Pain Management, Pre-Surgery Hypnosis, and Sleep Improvement. It is her belief that healing must include the mind, body and spirit.
Rhonda (St. Clair) McGovern, MA, RD, CSO, LD

Rhonda became Board Certified as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) in the Spring of 2010. She received her master's degree in Food & Nutrition from University of California at Davis. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed in the state of Florida and has been with the Sari Center since its opening in 2008. She also works at Jupiter Medical Center. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Palm Beach County Dietetic Association, and Oncology Dietetic Practice Group.
Rhonda has dedicated herself to oncology nutrition after being treated for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2005. She received an allogeneic transplant from her sister which included chemotherapy and whole body radiation. After doing a marathon with her son, Tyler, in support of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society she realized how important it is to have many levels of support in "surthrivorship". Here at the Sari Center people can be comforted by a knowledgeable staff that will apply their expertise to your personal walk with cancer. Always seeking answers Rhonda can help sort through the latest research specific to an individual’s type of cancer, chosen therapy, and goals to optimize the odds for safety and potential benefit.

Anita is a Licensed Massage Therapist, offering "Balanced Touch," a non-invasive method of treatment. Anita's treatments are designed specifically to meet the needs of each individual patient utilizing a wide range of modalities, with an emphasis on Tina Sohn's oriental AMMA Therapy, a proprietary technique utilizing points similar to those treated in acupuncture.
Anita's work focuses on the 4 pillars of health: the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Anita has great expertise and experience with people with various medical symptoms and conditions, and through her work, patients consistently report improved symptoms and quality of life. Anita's focus is on individualized care in the treatment of stress reduction and pain management. Anita graduated from the NY College of Health Professions in 1996. Kim is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Swedish massage trained in the Laura Norman method of reflexology and certified in manual lymphatic drainage. She has provided massage for private clients since 2006 and worked for three years with a surgeon assisting during surgery and providing lymphatic treatment post surgery. During the last 7 years Kim has continued her training in oncology-related massage through the Society 4 Oncology Massage where she is a member, as well as gaining tremendous experience working with cancer patients at the Sari Center since its inception. Kim is a warm and dedicated practitioner who brings positive energy and her loving light to those she serves.

Christine's work is motivated by a deep appreciation for the mystery and miracle of the body and a genuine concern for people and their health. Her individualized treatments and classes offer an intuitive understanding of restoring the body to balance through a catalytic and meditative style.
Lymphatic Therapy is Christine's specialty! Her training in complex decongestive therapy from the Vodder-Schule of Austria and a BA in Education enabled her to create the first Lymphedema Program at Good Samaritan Medical Center where she helped treat and educate breast cancer patients with lymphedema. Her unique orientation fuses techniques acquired from 20 years of experience working in spas, hospitals and healing centers in Palm Beach County. Integrated with a spiritual approach to life, her repertoire includes: Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Spa therapies, Esthetics, Reflexology and Energywork. She is a loving wife and mother of 3 children. Her passion is to help people feel relaxed in their bodies, while evolving through the Heart.

Lori is a Certified Holistic Nurse and has been a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor since 1995. She is a charter member of Healing Touch International (HTI) and served on the Certification Board/review panel for 12 years.
She has been an American Holistic Nurses' Association (AHNA) Leadership Council member and adjunct faculty at PBCC.
Her clinical nursing experience since 1974 and management positions have varied in Emergency, Cardiology, Hospice, Oncology, Plastic Surgery and currently in Post-op/Recovery. She is also an Integrative Modality Instructor at Palm Beach Academy teaching massage and esthetic students.
As an RN and educator, Lori brings years of integrative and clinical nursing skills with a professional, heart-centered approach to her Healing Touch sessions. She has worked with clients for relaxation and wellness and serious health issues such as cancer and heart disease. She also shares common ground as a breast cancer Survivor-Thriver.

Gus Castellanos, M.D. attended the University of Miami undergraduate and Medical School, receiving his M.D. degree in 1980. He trained at Emory, Georgetown Universities, and completed a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship and research at MD Anderson Tumor Institute, Houston. He received board certification in Neurology in 1987 and in Sleep Medicine in 1994. He practiced medicine in South Florida, until retiring in Jan. 2007 to pursue his interests in meditation and metaphysical studies.
Gus is now a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (M.B.S.R.) facilitator & meditation teacher, trained by the University of Massachusetts’ Center for Mindfulness. He currently teaches at the Sari Asher Center for Integrative Cancer Care, U Health Fitness Center (U of Miami Medical Wellness Center), and The Wellness Center at Ultima Fitness and has taught at the Hanley Center, A New Day Treatment Center, Jupiter Medical Center, Hospice of Palm Beach County, U.S. Army and Kula Yoga Shala. He is the volunteer mindfulness instructor for South Bay Correctional Facility and serves as an advisor to Integrative Medicine Department at Jupiter Medical Center and is currently involved in mindfulness research with the Mindfulness Based Attention Training program at the University of Miami Neuroscience Lab.
